The song becomes both artists’ highest charting effort following the release of its music video.

Ozuna’s “El Farsante,” bolstered by a remix with Romeo Santos, blasts onto Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart dated Feb. 17 at No. 32 following the release of its music video on Jan. 30.

The song reaches a new peak in U.S. streams, earning 14.1 million overall in the week ending Feb. 8, according to Nielsen Music – a 79 percent gain over the previous tracking week and 187 percent more than the week before (which was the final full tracking week before the video’s release).

The track’s debut represents a new high for both acts on the list, besting Ozuna’s “La Modelo” with Cardi B (No. 46, Jan. 6) and Santos’  “Odio,” featuring Drake (No. 45, Feb. 15, 2014).

The release of the video assists “El Farsante” on other charts, too. Though it doesn’t make the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, which measures streams from on-demand audio services only, it jumps 63 percent in on-demand audio streams, garnering 4.3 million overall.
