Drake’s reign continues, as More Life helps the rapper break more records.
The rapper’s new “playlist” debuted atop the Billboard 200 this week… and helped him break two Hot 100 records: the most hits by a solo artist (154) and most simultaneous hits on the chart (24), reports Billboard.
The first record finds Drake passing mentor Lil Wayne for most charted singles on the Hot 100. As for the second record, 22 songs are from More Life (all of the project’s songs), while two others are as a featured guest, including Gucci Mane’s “Both” and Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds”.
Lastly, Drake lands his own record, with the most Hot 100 debuts in a week — 21 from More Life.
With 154 Hot 100 entries, Drake sits at No. 1 on the lost of most Hot 100 entries of all-time, behind only the Glee cast (2007).
