Apple Music’s ‘The Cash Money Story’ Documentary Gets Release Date

0

This Cash Money documentary has been a long time in the making. In August of 2016 it was announced that Birdman and the streaming giant would come together to tell the story of the legendary record label, yet the film was never released in the fall of that year and things had stalled ever since.

Now Apple Music has released another trailer for the documentary, which now has a definitive release date this month.

As you can see from the clip, the story will revolve around the come up of Bryan and Ronald Williams (Baby and Slim) before they grew Cash Money into a global empire. Birdman will actually serve as the narrator for the film, which is directed by Clifton Bell. You will get to see unreleased and rare footage from their start and childhood in the process, with interviews from those closest to the Williams brothers.

Before Anythang: The Cash Money Story is out February 16.
