After enjoying success with club and party anthems, Lil Jon is now creating opportunities for youth in need.
According to The Grio, The rapper/producer recently partnered with charity Pencils of Promise to help build a new school in Ghana.
Mafi Atitekpo DA Primary School is the second school in Ghana’s Mafi Atitekpo village and is expected to serve 313 children. The first school built in the country, Abomayaw D.A. Kindergarten, opened last October.
Lil Jon donated $70,000 towards the school, in an attempt to help grow young minds. “I’m all about helping children,” he said in a statement. “Children are our future and every child deserves to have an environment where they can learn and flourish and gain knowledge.”
